Slayfest on the San Diego

    Took my boss and his friend on the San Diego yesterday. Early chop was kinda gnarly and a few guys got sick, including his friend. We started on some kelps and it went bananas. I quickly got my limit of dodo and ran into the galley to get the sick friend, put a rod in his hand and told him catching a fish would make him feel better. He quickly caught both dorado and yellowtail (both his first fish ever) and felt better. I ended with 12 dodo and 5 slug yellows, giving Doritos away to folks that hadn’t caught any. Simply phenomenal full day fishing.

    Great job out there Borderbasser. Sounds like a blast on light gear. Were most of the fish caught on sardines, or did they eat the jig as well ?

    Nice work bro! Killin em. Those wide open dorado stops are bonkers. I've been itching to get out but my wallet seems to have a hole in it
