For the past 3 weeks we've been having a lot of fun catching and getting rid of some carp. Lake staff brought us a carp cart so we could throw them in the cart and have them be fed to the coyotes. We've totaled something like 100 or so carp in 3 sessions. We brought some lighter tackle (4lbs test) and listened to the sweet sound of our drags. If you've had one of these at the end of your line, you know the fun we had.

I hardly post on here, but I'm making it a goal of mine to share more on here with you guys as I've learned a lot from here as well. Hopefully you guys dont get tired of seeing my posts Follow me on my Instagram for more @ Xdreamepic

    Thanks & Keep on Slaying!

    Good job.
Weird, in Europe it's the fish of choice to catch. Most don't bother with bass, but that's slowly changing.

Lake Morena and fish right around the boat dock or fishing dock. Dont know if I'll make it out there this weekend, but the fish are there. Should be just about anywhere though. Just pay attention to where they are jumping and make a cast there.

Yum! If the fish aren't biting you have a snack!

I know it is out of the way, but the Wolf Sanctuary in Julian would take any and all.

I've always just picked up the cheapest white bread. Never tried wheat so I can't say if it makes a difference. Make a big dough ball then pick out and roll little ones about the size you would use for power bait or slightly bigger just to cover the hook. A hook size 2, 4, or 6 should do. Some people go into adding flour and jello mix and all kinds of things, but I was taught this simple recipe when I was younger and it has never failed me.
