Went to SDRC for 30min, nada. Decided to put some LC work in, went to the Quiv docks. No bonito, but cudas wanted to play. Trying to fumble around to get a pic of the 5th one, I impaled my finger on one of those crazy hooks! After getting the fish off somehow and collecting myself, went back to the car for pliers to crimp the barb and extract the hook. Caught 2 more before the bite died.

Oh yeah, not a great idea to hit something on the backside of the LC cast, broke off the lip, da@&! The last one was with a rapala, saw more follows with no hookups and a couple hits that didn't take. The LCs are legit, but they're pricey!

Yeah I know I shoulda taken the pic with the wriggling fish and me on the same LC, lol!

After I lodged a treble hook in my hand a couple years ago, I started crimping down all my barbs. I haven't lost a fish because of it.

I think that's why I love plastic and lead, only one hook to worry about...
