But managed to get a couple hours on the water. 11am-3pm. Yes i know not ideal times to catch fish.

Showed up at the lake, had brunch with the wife, then went to purchase some permits and a rental.

Enjoyed catching up with the friendly lake staff. Those guys are awesome at San V, great customer service. They keep me coming back time and time again.

Todays conditions - winds out of the northeast. Wind advisory was no joke. Crazy gusts out there on the h2o. Warm weather, in the 70’s. Water temp 57-59 and butterflies flying around everywhere. Some Fish were deep-45 feet, some suspended and some shallow tight to cover. So fish where you want.

Only thing that sucked is my rinkydink trolling motor that i slap on the rental boat died on us today. All in all still managed some good bites and enjoyed the nice warm air and sun.

Managed to catch a couple on plastics. Could not find a reaction bite today.

    Enjoy the pics.

Surprised to see the water still below 60. No skunk and a day with the wife...looks like a great day to me.

Nice man glad you guys got on em and had a good day. I stayed away from the wind today. My buddies were there and got numbers nothing big on swimbaits deep.

That third pic looks like, "how am I going to get that hook out of there." Been there! The old reach-through-the-gill trick works most every time!

Nice to see the wife out with you, great picks don’t let your wife get off the hook she looks like a keeper.
