Nice job. Me and my grandpa fished from our skiff back there and couldn't buy a bite yesterday. Walking the dog and even c rig ghosties.

Nicely done! I gotta try South Bay one of these days. Love the variety, and chance for a bonefish!

    I had 3 rigs ready.
A t-rigged lizard for the grass.
A spoon to throw at anything busting.
A charteuse tube bait to bounce along the bottom of the channel and for workings around the docks.

Went with Door #3 most of the time and it was the only thing that caught fish....but 2.5 fish per hour is pretty slow. Downright dismal considering how much water was covered.
Recently came into possession of two anchors. Experimented w the smaller one yesterday. Thinking the bigger one could be a game changer when the wind and tide are a problem...or anytime over at tidelands....

I've really fallen in love with the unpredictability of bay fishing.

    Nice work.

Those YFC always obliterate and pull hard at first. I swear everyone I've ever caught, thought it was a bigger fish.
