    You can now login to sdfish.com with your Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter or Yahoo accounts.

    If you don't have an sdfish.com account, you can simply go to the login page and click on the icon associated with the account you would like to use to login.

    If you're an existing member, and would like to link your sdfish.com account to an existing social media account you can do that as well. It will not change any details, your sdfish.com account will remain intact, including all your posts and PMs. But from now on, you won't have to remember your sdfish password to login, and if you're already logged in one of your social accounts, you can just click the icon at the login screen and you'll automatically be logged in with 1 click.

    To link your sdfish.com account to a social media account, follow these steps;

    Login to sdfish.com with your existing account
    Click on "User Control Panel" either in the top menu, or the menu on the right
    Click on the profile tab
    Click on the icon for the account you'd like to link, and follow the steps to authorize sdfish.com to accept your login info from that site

    Please note, all data is secure. Doing this won't give sdfish.com access to your facebook, twitter, google, linkedin, or yahoo account. The system uses an API through those particular services to exchange authentication.

    I hope this makes logging in and sharing with the community on sdfish.com even more convenient!

    Which social service were you using? I can double check all the settings, I think the only one I didn't link to my account personally was the linkedin. But it is kind of a complicated setup, so probably will be some bugs I'll have to work through.

    Was trying to link to Facebook. Do I need to link from this site, or do I need to be on Facebook to link?

    You'll need to do it through sdfish. When you click the fb icon in your sdfish profile page it'll prompt you to authorize Facebook to allow sdfish.com to access your profile. When you accept that, the icon in your profile will display a green check next to the accounts you've linked.

    When I'm able to get back to my home office (place flooded from a frozen pipe bursting on Monday) I will double check all this. Right now I'm stuck on the ipad so nothing I can do to fix anything or test in depth.
