No, I'm not happy with how social media sites block people based on some weird 'trigger.' But when someone flat-out lies, and their comment is removed...it's not because the comment is liberal or conservative, but because it's a freakin' lie.

    Here's the deal.

If Ron Paul flat-out made something up, and you re-post it, why are you surprised that it was deleted?
Nobody from Pfizer ever claimed their vaccine was 100 percent effective. Not once. Not ever.
The easiest way to win an argument is to misquote someone (in plainer talk, just tell a lie) , then explain why they were wrong (when they never said it in the first place).

Now, I know this is hard for some people to grasp, but if you repeat a lie, and someone points out that it's a lie....and you whine because "you're picking on me because I'm a (republican, conservative, liberal, ginger, Scottish, left-handed, whatever)..." how sad is that? I'm sad for you.

Help me be happy again. Show me where anyone from Pfizer said their vaccine was "100 effective" (whatever that means), and I will apologize to you...AND I'll send ten bucks to Ron Paul's reelection campaign.

    Thanks....

    Nicely done BGR.

'(republican, conservative, liberal, ginger, Scottish, left-handed, whatever)'
For the record, I identify as regular East County. The math is easy from there (I would think)).

    Holy crap.
it's a lack of reading comprehension here.
Yes, I know that Pfizer says COVID vaccine was 100% effective in trial of children ages 12 to 15.
and the Ron Paul bald-faced lie was this...a screen shot from the earlier post in this thread.
    upload_2022-1-20_18-0-21.png

Additionally if you actually READ what the Pfizer person said...NOT what some Yahoo summary claimed... you'd know that Pfizer said it 100 percent effective for a specific age group AND/OR in the initial limited time study. There were several similar comments made as new studies were released.

Do you understand why legitimate concerns over vaccines aren't taken seriously? Because a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy kooks just keep repeating misinformation and disinformation as if it was truth.

When some mouth-breathing inbred kook makes something up...and you post it as if it were true....and then to back up your claims, you post links that DON'T have the information, and you didn't even bother to READ what you posted.

The short -term studies were for a specific age group, and/or for seven days through six months. That was the data that he specifically based his comments on.

And yeah, Ron Paul may or may not be running for re-election...last I heard from some of y'all, he's the 2nd choice for Trump's veep on the 2024 ticket.

Okay, here we go. Slowly, and using small words.

Please provide a link showing where anyone from Pfizer claimed its vaccine was 100 percent effective, with no caveats.

For folks who don't understand, here's an example.

"My KDX 200 was the best off-road motorcycle available for a reasonable price, which outperformed lots of expensive bikes of its era, with little or no modification."

The Ron Paul version: "My KDX 200 was the best off-road motorcycle." There's a term for that, it's called a lie of omission. It's a lie.

See the difference? You don't get to take a few words from a speech or news release or whatever, call BS on it, then accuse the speaker of backtracking. Because they didn't.

Here we go. I'll up the ante.
I will pay the charity of your choice $25, and make the donation in your name, if you show me where anyone from Pfizer said their vaccine was "100 percent effective."

A lot of people voted for Trump because, well, he's a little nutty but he's gotta be better than what we have now. Let's give him a shot.
I was really disappointed that he couldn't stop being...well, Trump...just a little bit once he was in the big chair. He did get some stuff done and could have been re-elected.
So a lot of people voted for Biden because, well, he's a little nutty but he's gotta be better than what we have now. Let's give him a shot.
As I've been saying for a decade...this country's so ripe for a third party candidate who's not just a party hack in an empty suit....or a nutcase.

Meh....sore loser. What a passive aggressive way to insult me (that's a joke by the way. There was nothing passive aggressive about it). Your head must explode when you watch Joe Biden engaging in public speeches.

Also, I tried to search for any link that showed that this screen shot that Danno posted was actually real and put up by Paul Rand. I did not find anything as of yet. But I will keep looking.
