I believe honest, upfront family-strong law-abiding and God-fearing people knew full well what they were getting into when they voted for Trump. I know I did. I also knew he was a leader in arrogance. I knew he was a horrible speaker. I also knew he had nutz the size of bowling ballz and had zero fear of anyone in Washington, China or Russia. I also knew that if he said he was going to do spmething, he would. And he did - all while having CA Democrat idiots Swallowin' Swalwell, Pinche Pelosi and Schiff For Brains riding him for impeachment every day for all four years.

Now.. for those that didn't vote for Trump - why didn't they? Mostly they hated him simply because he was the bad man that fired people on TV. That's it. They had no clue or care as to his business skills, love for law enforcement (I'm sure they hated that) and military, and sense of commitment to his word. Couldnt have cared less what he said or how he said it - just as long as he did what he said he would. So, even with having those three Democratic idiots and many more up his azz for four full years, he continued to keep his word on ALL of his campaign promises - and gave us so much more in spite of being "investigated" every day. Energy independence - and now the loss of thanks to Brandon - comes to mind. PS.. how are you enjoying paying $4.79 for a gallon of the cheap stuff? I'm not. Word has it that the price will be going to $6 or more once a barrel of oil starts going for $100 - or higher.

So you can't provide one single bit of information to support the lie by Ron Paul? He typed it so it must be true. And since every single link posred in this thread show that he lied....
    oh yeah.

If I'm reading his posts right, carp seems to be insulting the intelligence of people he doesnt know from behind a computer screen (where its safe). Fairly reminiscent of DM. I hope that habit breaks.

The asshats you mentioned are asshats no argument there.
Trump's business acumen wouldn't fill a thimble. He is just smart enough to retain people who make money for him, and fire people who don't. That doesn't take a genius.
Respect for the military? If he had just paused for a second, before blorting out disrespectful comments, I'd buy that. But he made comments that were offensive to service members and vets and their families. He's not the first president to be verbally clumsy, but at some point ya gotta step off your own dick and stick to the script.
And yep, we were all supposed to be dead by now, or enslaved by the Chinese because he was gonna start World War 3...how many times did we hear that nonsense?
If he could have just been less Trumpy and focused on governing instead of being petty, he could have won in 2020. Any rich ****heel can succeed in business. A lot of rich ****heels win elections. But the smart rich ****heels can win reelection over and over.

Kinda like the pettiness of Left Democrats bent on killing his ability to do his job? Ya, if I were them, I would have been scared too. Yet in spite of the constant Schiff Show...

    Total energy independence.
    Border security.
Seeing billions coming back to us instead of going out - moving back toward the black. But not no mo'.

    I didn't insult anyone. Recapping:

    1. Making up false statements by editing someone's statement (a la Ron Paul) is lying.
    2. Repeating a lie will get you suspended or banned from some social media sites.
    3. I will donate 25 bucks to your favorite charity if you provide a link to the Pfizer guy saying his vax was 100 percent effective.

BGR, I used the statement about the klx to illustrate something you might have said. Nothing in that post was insulting or passive-aggressive. If Ron Paul edited your statement so that it was no longer true, then Ron Paul attributed thte falsehood to YOU, he'd be lying. That was my point.

"Pettiness" is showing remarkable restraint..they were asshats being asshats. Kinda makes one yearn for the Clinton administration. (Wait for it...)
Clinton and Gingrich could throw poop at each other all day but still let the government do its job. Sometimes.
Total energy independence? Would require better balance between management of nuclear, fossil fuels and green sources....and I don't think the electorate is ready for that.
As for your other two statements, I can't comment online because, well, it's too easy to be misunderstood...as this thread has demonstrated. And misunderstandings can cost people their livelihoods.....

'Now.. for those that didn't vote for Trump - why didn't they? Mostly they hated him simply because he was the bad man that fired people on TV. '

I'm going to quote someone I can't remember from, but, 'Trump lost in the election not because of those who voted in favor of biden, but those who voted AGAINST Trump'. Never a more true statement. My Son told me (a union Electrician), that he has talked to people in the union that voted for biden because of anyone-but-Trump syndrome.
Really?? How messed up can someone be to let their emotions swing their vote. Efffin childish!
The Man was doing a really good job. What do you have now? Happy?

Well, I hope this is what they wanted and I hope they can handle it because there are three more years of it coming, with multiple Covid variants and mask mandates included. I cannot stand the way he speaks and the way he thinks he's above everyone else. But I knew his business skills and hard-nosed attitude would put the US back in the super-power driver seat. Energy independence, billions incoming from fair tariffs to help clear our debt and put us back in the black, fear from China and Russia, fear from Afghanistan and all the other sand countries.

You're right.. "This is what they wanted. This is what they voted for."

I still don't believe that more people voted for Biden than Trump. I know democrats that held their noses and voted for Trump, just because they felt that Biden didn't even come close to representing what Americans wanted.

I don't disagree that social media sites still exercise some "discretion" in what is removed. As for either of the Pauls, their of outright lying is what made me switch from Libertarian to independent. As someone else noted, politicians are by nature, liars.

The reason I responded this time around is Paul told an outright lie. It was repeated here. As a true conservative, it pains me when some ******bag like either Paul spreads ******** that can be disproved with a ten second google search...as was proven in this thread.

I come down on the conservative side of 90 percent of issues. When someone (like Paul) chimes in with pure BS, it stains the credibility of conservatives overall. Someone who's trying to make up their mind on a particular issue sees a high profile conservative spouting outright lies, and may quit listening to legitimate concerns of conservatives...what happens next? Well, Biden gets elected.
