What's your thoughts on soft plastic glues? Would you recommend buying or is it just as good as some loctite epoxy? I'm looking to repair small swimbaits and stick baits

I think most people just melt them back together, although they don't seem to hold up very long after the repair.

Glad you said this. I was cleaning out my tackle bag for the new season yesterday and was wondering why I was keeping a lighter in one of my pockets. Just remembered why when you said this, for that very reason, haha! Looks like I'll have to throw it back in.

Mend-it works well although the bottle dries out fast. Super glue works although it is stiff, I like the Gorilla Super Glue Gel as it doesn't run as much and one drop is all that is needed. I usually use low VOC PVC pipe cement for tears although Mend-it is stronger and not as ugly (fish don't care though). Never heard of anyone using epoxy on soft plastic baits. Super glue is nice for gluing baits onto jig heads, works much better than the keepers jig heads come with.

    Store it upside down.

Same with ABS and PVC glue.
