Got a chance to tube with my Boy before he takes off to the Delta and it couldn't of been any funner. We fished til 9am only but it was a great bite. All fish were caught on the Main Lake, Flukes in early hours then T-Rigged Craws and Brushhogs stole the show. The Heat came quick but it was way worth it.

Thanks. That AM bite there has been awesome for several weeks but the quality of fish was really impressive today. Being the Dad, of course i took the pics but in all honesty other then his hog.. I had even more picture worthy blocks today. It was 3 hours of great fishing then get the heck out of there day cause the sun was melting by 9am... get out there if your schedule allows. Only 5 cars at Pigs. Cheers!

I had one tied on like I always do.. saw some puddling in the middle but never got on em. Hoping we see some of the good old days wolf packs in the middle.. it should be time for them to start busting shad balls out deep. Cheers! I remember sitting on the South Point of Pigs with Rucker and Jr. And we looked towards the dock and saw what looked like Tuna coming our way and they made it all the way too us and iT was WTFO. (50yards by 50yards) Good times!

Man, give you props for being able to leave when the quality is showing up like that. I was there last Wednesday and couldn't leave till the sun was going down.

We are the 14.5 hours on the water guys too. But lately we have had other stuff going on. And in all honesty, it's been kinds nice getting home not beat up and burnt up. Throw in our new paddle drills and I guess we are getting a little lazy.. cheers, love that lake!

The big one came on a brush hog. We did catch a few nice ones working the fluke fast and on top in the am but most fluke fish were caught dead sticking. Not as fun but very productive. I am sure you could of worked up your magic on top. The quality is there no doubt. Jr. actually farmed a bigger one on a fluke that spit him on the jump about 5 minutes before he caught the 8.14. Although you seem to make TW work all year, this is your time Michael.. go get some!

Those things are pretty trick! Might pull mine back out! Sometimes I am wasting the early bite kicking!

We drop in in the dark and motor to our spot now. Versus kicking and getting there late. Twice this year, we have used them to get to the back of Hauser and back. Something we never could of done without absolutely killing ourselves which we have done too many times.
