went fishing a few days ago on a 1.5tide I believe around 6 was peak low. I was able to hook onto some Hali’s, calicos, and spotties. Hooked onto something big that put up a good fight on my new clarus rod. Pulled it in and taped out a 20in calico. My new personal best from the surf. Most of the calicos average size was around 16 inches with an 18 incher and the 20 inch. The Hali’s were about 16-18 inches. Can’t wait for the next negative tide. Caught a few on the luckycraft and most of my fish were on the zman.

Joshsears1904 thanks bro. I wish all sessions are like this. Lol. Early mornings seem to be the only times I do this good. Sometimes you just gotta force yourself to get up. Lol.
perch killer Magsimus Mogambo themez thanks guys
Creek I’ve invited you out here before! I’m sure your clousers could reach no problem!
fishingmissionbay bro take me on one of your skiff sesh and I take you out on one of my surf sesh. Hahaha I usually just fish them slow. A few times they hit the zman right after it hits the water and lands in the bottom. Usually throwing them with a fish finder rig.
OpalAngler a buddy of mine got me this clarus and a pflueger supreme. This has to be my best set up for the surf by far! Light rod, smooth reel. I didn’t think it would handle the fish I recently caught but that 20 in calico really put it to the test and passed with flying colors.
