Spotted Bay Bass size limit?

    I wouldn't keep any spotties if I were you but that's your call. Spotties are not the best of the bass family to eat, the meat is mushy and not really the healthiest. If you like give it a try, but don't eat too many in a weeks time.

    They're fine. I've eaten a few 1.5 lbers as well as the 3+ lber I posted here: http://sdfish.com/index.php/forum/saltw ... d-sbb.html

    As far as taste goes, they're no bluegill, but a sirloin is no ribeye either, now, is it? I like the SBB better than catfish. They're definitely not mushy, in fact, I find them tougher than average.
