And away we go. Headed to the 302 to start our day when we come up on foamers at daybreak...got to about 50yrs and before we get in the baits in the water....POOF....gone. Set out the trollers and keep going.....another school....POOF..... and another.....every time. Maybe a dumb one will do something stupid on our way to the 371. Lol... A 22# YF on the outside Rapala. Yes sir!!!!! If last weekend was a parking lot, Sunday was a vacant lot. We had the Pacific to ourselves. Off to the 425. Cloudy n breezy wth a lil chop. Not bad, but enough to keep you honest. 4 miles past, on our way to the 101, our first paddy. As we drag past it, a blow up on the feather...gotcha!!!!! Yellowtail!!! We found a virgin paddy touched by no human!!! We spent the next 3 hours drifting this honey hole for 10 YT. All in th 15-20# range. The fun size... All on bait. Every drift was a hook up. Several had 3 bendos at once. Craziness!!!!! Lost at least 4 but put 10 on the deck. Now my neighbor will stop bugging me for meat. Could go years before this happens again......

Nice job, I may start going out again if the YT start showing in good numbers. I have no more desire to watch the bluefin be bluefin or fly kites around the ocean.

That was sorta our plan....stop on the breakers n hope.... keep the lines out while we look for paddies. According to the radio chatter, the kelp was holding.

You’re welcome. I hope you enjoy it.

Whisperer? LOL! More like I hope and pray. Sometimes my prayers are answered.
