Was out fishing the bay, and buddy goes I have some crack on me let's try it real quick, hit the sur
Sure I've seen everything from Stacy Adams, J13s, to county flip flops lmao. But long story short got done with the bay ran down to the beach and made a few cast for half HR or so got a quick 5 just wanted to feel it out. Usually I'm just bare foot. Waves ehhhh don't really pay attention much besides holes lol. Some days I find myself wading from ankle to waist deep. But yes My boots were fully submerged in water lol thank God for free boots any time lol.
Tamarack jetty a good spot for the Opaleye coach?
Excellent!!! This wasn't IB I hope???
Used to be.. fish any rocky area you can find. Big rocks mixed with sand can yield some tank opaleye. Haven't fished true north county in a long time
I always tell my buddy after a Pismo sesh. "I'm still alive aren't I?" Haha no this was not ib
What type of reel are you using?
It's a brand called Nobey. It's basically a knockoff of the Komodo. $60 bucks and so far I abused it through 3 seasons in the salt still smooth drags are strong as well. Makes me think now of all the money I dished out on brand name low profiles haha
Shhh. Not so loud
Good halibut spot as well shhhhhh
Is it possible if you could send me a link of that reel? Been thinking of getting a new baitcaster
I don't think the company makes that model any more. At least I couldn't find it.
