Had another obligation this morning so I had to fish the evening shift. The lake hates me after 9:00 am. A trio of 7's kept my skunkless streak alive! The were amazing perfect little 7" clones! They all tried to eat the mini Gunfish. I kept expecting a big explosion, but it never happened.

Oh Sutherland, I hardly knew you this year! May we become better acquainted in the Spring!

Next year, the lake will hopefully be open during the time we missed this year and my prediction is that you will be rewarded with plenty of very healthy bass in 2021! :)

I'll take small 7" ones after the year I've had. So sad they close Sutherland from Oct to March. Good job catching them Paul. Guess we'll have to try some different lakes till March. Thanks for the report, I'm heading out to Sutherland right now, in fact.

Skunk back in the boat....two blowups...none in the boat. :emoji_slight_frown: Going back this morning, Sunday. Hope to at least get the skunk off the boat.

The last few years haven't been very productive for me, with work and all.... but especially at Sutherland, which hasn't been a producer since about 2016. Granted, this year I just didn't bother with it. I really liked it when the water was low and there was a lot of great structure that I got very familiar with fishing. Good times.....

Like the last time I saw you there! You worked those underwater boulders! Probably 40' under right now! Have not seen Parker point in about 4 years.

Yes those two rock piles pretty much held fish all the time, and all through the season. I don't think I remember ever getting completely skunked there, even on the slowest days.
