City webpage will be updated next week (week of Oct. 10). Most of the information there is here already (I believe). Webpage now updated, so shortening this up.

    CONCESSION/RENTALS
    http://rockymountainrec.com/lake-facilities/listing/san-vicente-reservoir

    SHORE FISHING
Yes; however the shoreline is steep, muddy and stinky and not very shore fishing friendly at this time. I believe the 'approved' area will be from the launch area to the aqueduct. The docks are strictly for boaters to tie up to while using the facilities (i.e. restroom, concession stand, picnic area, etc.).

    KAYAKS
If no motor and no trailer, you just need the $8 car entry (aka adult fish pass). If you have a trailer you need the $7 launch permit (either one) and you pay an additional $8 per person at the booth. No trailer but a motor means $7 launch as well with the per person fees at the booth.

    IN AND OUT
Vehicles may leave ONCE per day. Vehicles will be logged at the booth and hands will be stamped and number of occupants recorded. Re-entry with a non-handstamped person may result in a loss of privileges.

*DISCLAIMER: all information subject to change without my notice. And lookee it just did! ;)

Not sure of the official answer, but at El Capitan, you must wear waders to tube, and its a body contact lake, and there is no swimming allowed either..not sure about SanV..

So you could theoretically tube by getting in the car of someone with the above ticketmaster passes. Right? Paying the fishing fee at the lake, of course.

Each vehicle ticket allows for 5 persons (counting the ticket holder), not real sure you can find room in a vehicle, especially since most people will be camping out in line. Good Luck tho!.. Gonna be some monster fish caught that weekend! Be sure to take you biggest to the dock to be offically measured and weighed, then release it! :)

So I have a launch with opt vehicle. Can I have 2 in the truck towing the boat and 2 more in the truck behind me with float tubes? So it would be 1 ticket, 2 boaters and 2 float tubers.

Yes. All 4 people would need to purchase fishing permits at the lake though.

    Yes.

I have a Wakeboard boat that caries 18 people. I have 6 family members, seven if you count grampy. My SUV is a 7 passenger vehicle. According to these rules, do I have to leave 2 family members at home?

If your boat is the same one in your avatar that is creating surf-able wave behind it then you are going to make enough new friends to fill about 110 boats. I'm sure one of your new friends can drive in two of your family members for you.

I am not sure how you expect any water contact boats to get a ticket given the modification to #3. You already have a protected water contact group that is limited in its use of lakes, you limit the number of boats to less than half that of fishing boats and now you are essentially saying that it's OK for a fisherman that can't get a fishing boat launch to go ahead and get a water contact launch for a very small premium?

You might as well close the lake to water contact period. The chances of getting in are slim to none now.

Water contact had Saturday and Sunday 100% in the summer before the lake closed. For 20 years it filled the 90 boat cap just about every day. So 180 boats you have already reduced to 80, now can be further reduced to less. Water contact also made more money on this lake as the fees have not really changed.

Sure will be interesting to run a derby thru Tix master. Perhaps when things get settled and novelty wears off the vendor (Rocky Mountain) will be able to manage ticket sales thru the onsite kiosk.

now we're talkin'!!!! The river is really nice this time of year!! All kidding aside I do agree about the fishing on a WC ticket. If you have a WC contact ticket they should be making sure you have no rods in the boat that morning. That's not fair to allow fisherman a shot at WC tickets. That also crowds that many more fishing boats around the existing fisherman
