    I was able to get out for a few hours yesterday afternoon. Water is still a good 20' lower than this time last year. I talked with the guy locking the gate and was told they haven't released any water from Loveland.
    Fighting a strong wind and one downpour (decided to leave my rain gear in the truck) I was able to put together a nice couple of hours. I ended up with my first 4 bass of the year. The first was on a 1/2 ounce spinnerbait with an oversized willow blade. The other 3 were on lipless cra

    Nice. I've lived near by for 10 years plus and drive past it almost daily for work. Never once have gone to fish it. Just hike the trails. You might have to teach me the ropes.
