While I’m berating myself I look closer and see my roboworm, 2 Senkos, a topwater bait and a Mepps spinner!

    Had to laugh.

I saw a Roland Martin show one day where Roland threw a crankbait and it ended up in a tree overhanging the water. His boat partner was a guy named Tom Knapp, a famous trickshooter. Ol Tom pulled up an old open sighted 22 rifle and broke a branch about 1/4" thick the bait was on with one round and the whole works(the branch and the crankbait )fell in the water. Roland got his bait back........

If you ever go to Poway, look closely, you'll catch huge bass and trout in the trees to. Crankbaits, worms, spinners, and lines hanging with old dried up powerbaits.

Did you ever see the vid of Roland hung up in a tree, then to his surprise, a big tree snake fell from the tree, nearly falling on him into his boat. Lol!

I've heard a time or two just as I started my cast...."Watch out for the...!", eye roll, sigh, start up the boat, retrieve. "Now remember...."

The one I remember of Bill Dance , he hooked a paper wasp nest and yanked it out of the tree , right into the boat . All inclusive where jumping in the water to get away from the wasps . Camera man and all even in the second unseen boat ! Funny to watch but wouldn't have wanted to been there !

The tackle that surprises me is the stuff hanging on the power and phone lines nearly 30 feet straight overhead . Wonder what the dynamics of that are ? See it a lot up in the Delta area .
