Anyone have 9’ Teramar laying around that they don’t use? Specifically the H rated 25# to 40#?

It makes it a lot easier when it has ugly pink and teal marbling.

Lol. I feel like I’m set on a Teramar for the moment. Not running too high of a budget as it won’t get a crazy amount of use right now

Check out Angler's Choice or Dana Landing. I got my 8'6" MH Jig/ Bait Teramar at Dana, maybe they have the spec you're looking for. IIRC, it was cheaper there than at AC.

I know fisherman’s landing has them. I think I’ve seen them at Dana also, can’t recall if the prices were the same. I’ll check them out if no one on here replies back with one they’re looking to sell. Appreciate the info.

Are you looking for a jigstick to throw irons off of the jetty?

Lmao, no it’s not. Have a setup for that already lol. Not specifically dedicated to that but something light enough to carry along with my other gear while walking the jetty.

I bought a used jigstick not too long ago (6480), and I'm tempted to take it to the end of the jetty to practice casting with. I watched a guy casting surface irons out there recently. I don't know if he caught anything with it, but I remember one cast where a bunch of bonito followed the iron all the way in.

Well shoot, I’m up for giving that a shot with you sometime. Hard to commit to it alone, might be easier with someone else

I have a 6480 I've been meaning to use as a jigstick...dont own any surface irons yet and am mostly a bait guy on the boats so have mostly been using it as a 40lb flyline rod for kelp patty fish or when the bite is WFO. Need to pickup a few surface irons and go practice off the jetty

Lol...I bring a few backup reels offshore. Not for fear of something failing but for non recoverable backlash hahaha

I'm down to sling some irons with you guys. It's always nice to have someone else who can gaff all those fish I never catch.
