    Hello all,
Headed to Hodges again this weekend for some last month fun. The fishing has been pretty good there lately with a number of smaller fish hitting drop shots and a few on cranks but the bigger fish for me have seemed to come primarily from t-rigged big worms. At the first spot I tried I managed to get my 12 inch chocolate neon blue worm dragged from shallow to deeper and set on a nice one. It went 5.3lbs and put a smile on my face early in the day (not that I wasn’t already smiling I mean I was fishing). A beautiful sunrise came soon after with a couple sinks on drop shot. As the sun came up it got hot fast and there was ZERO air movement. I was working on making a new video but my phone kept overheating. I headed over to some deeper structure (8-12ft) and managed another nicer fish that went almost 3lbs. I did lose 3 big hits that I got too excited over and set on too fast with the longer worms. Still a fun day on the water though I only managed 4 landed by noon. Check out the video below for more details and some beautiful scenery.

Actually yes I did/do pour worms. For quite a while my buddy and I had a company called Pourboy Plastics. Back in the day we used to give them away at Barrett when everyone would wait in line. We also sold them in lots of the local bait and tackle stores and online. I still have tons from back in the day and haven’t made any or bought any for years.
