This was yesterday’s sesh. Arrived at the spot at 5 and literally every cast I linked with a fish or had a bite. It was going off in almost every direction. This was one of the calicos I caught, but there was quantity and quality going on yesterday morning. Was debating if I should of kept some, but realized I just went grocery shopping the other day and don’t have any room for fish. Lol was debating if I should of went this morning, but decided to give my body a rest. Might be going out Thursday morning since I work at 11.

I like how you don’t share the spot. It has me intrigued lol. Your reports are about the only ones that entertain me right now. How many did you catch?

Not quite sure how many but I know I had a few 4-5 bass streaks. There were spotties and sandies in the mix but small ones. Thinking about investing in some gloves. I saw one calico that had an octopus in its mouth, tried grabbing it and i dropped, it cut up my finger pretty good with its teeth.

If I wasn't jumping on a plane this afternoon I'd be crawling all over that spot in the morning :emoji_sunglasses:

With me, no one cares about what I try to target enough to put up with the inconvenience of fishing my spots

Depends on what folks target. The "inconvenience" I think is rather worth the potential payoff.

If you are at his secret spot but use the wrong baits/lures and rigging, then it won't make much different. That stretch of beach has also been producing for me lately. I lost a good size one last night. I pulled a good size calico with a giant kelp paddy with it and broke off near me. I'm gonna have to upsize my #12 test line to #20 or more.

It has been rough lately and so much debris in water. Normally #12 is fine for a bass but not with a paddy tag along
