Tides and sunrise looked like a good combination this morning...high tide peak only one hour after sunrise. Started at 06:30 with my light bass rig. Warmed up on a couple dinkers. First one at 06:45. Second at 06:55. Once the sun popped over the horizon and the water slowed down a bit the Grumps showed up. Caught at 07:11. Grumpy chin I threw a grub for 10 or so casts and then saw a school of really small bait fish go by. Took off the grub and down sized to 3" Keitech on a #1 EWG. Gave it a cast and let it drift in the current. 07:37 Wham-o. Had a hole right in the middle of the tail?? Picked up a few more clone-sized before I packed up and went home to clean up my gear.
