Thread Cleaning

    What do you all use to clean your wraps prior to applying the finish. I have one that is a bit dusty and I want to clean the wraps. I guess I wrap too slow.

    If it's only a little bit of dust, I burn it off along with any "fuzzies " with an alcohol burner

    Blue or green masking tape. If it's stained then rewrap.

    Hirame. Thanks. I used light air and blew off as much as I could then a soft brush. I burned off the rest with a alcohol lamp. I'll let you know once the finish is done.
