This forum is provided as a means for you to exchange either whole, or partial spots on a Barrett ticket reservation between yourselves.

SDFish.com bears no responsibility in deals that you make here, it is your responsibility to protect your own interests when making a deal here.

Reservations are $80 + ticketmaster service charge fee. That price includes up to 4 people to enter the lake in up to 2 vehicles, and 1 boat and motor rental.

This forum is provided as a way for you to exchange dates, recoup your money in the event that you cannot make the date that you had originally reserved, or recoup a portion of your ticket for available slots that you won't be using. This forum is not here for you to make money off the Barrett fishing hype.

While only 1 boat rental is available per ticket (and 4 anglers in one boat is crowded), anglers are also permitted to float tube, kayak, canoe (no motorized private watercraft) or fish from shore. Those are commonly referred to as "tube spots" on sdfish.com.
    • No scalping - As a seller you may not ask for more than the actual price of the ticket or portion of a partial ticket for tube spots, as listed above.
    • No bribing or sweetening the pot - As a potential buyer, you may not offer more than the above mentioned values.
    • Exchange of partial tickets - You must coordinate with the ticket holder the time they are entering the lake. Anglers are escorted into the lake at set times and all anglers entering on the same reservation must enter at the same time. Also coordinate whether you'll be able to bring your vehicle into the lake. Reservations allow for up to 2 vehicles due to limited parking. If the original ticket holder is using both of those vehicle slots, you'll need a ride with someone else.
    Exchange of full tickets;

Sounds like a hike in ticketmaster fees and nothing to do with Barrett prices

This has changed. Since we added shore spots that has significantly increased the number of names involved I have passed this task to Ticketmaster. Simply have the person who purchased the ticket call before 1:00 pm the Tuesday or Friday prior and ask to have a named added to the alternate will call list.

Do NOT tell you are selling or transferring the ticket as they will say no.

If you call me for a name transfer I will direct you to TIcketmaster. Nor will I take last minute name changes.

Always have the person purchasing the permit check in under the original ticket holder's name. ID's are only requested if there is a dispute in line (i.e. more than the allotted amount checking in under the ticket).

Having trouble getting through to Ticketmaster to add an alternate will call .
    (866) 448-7849
    (800) 745-3000

Anyone have any other numbers or suggestions so I can add the extra will call person?

The 866-448-7849 allows for online purchases only, no live operator.

One other note; the latest you can put in for adding a name is NOON the day before. So NOON Tuesday for Wednesday's and NOON Friday for the weekends. This is because they are supposed to compile the list and send it to us by 1:30 that afternoon.

How do you transfer a ticket via Ticketmaster? When I select the "Transfer Tickets" option, it does not appear to allow it for this specific event or type of ticket? Trying to trade a single tube/shore reservation.

    Thanks.

When you call, tell the system you want to add an alternate will call name.

(Request for Admin to update initial post or sticky this post to assist other members)

After trying several numbers and speaking to several representatives, I would like to make this post to help my fellow anglers who need to change the name of a reservation through Ticketmaster.

Call: 800-653-8000 for a Fan Support Representative

I tried several menu's but I suggest pushing "0" to talk to a representative. It may ask you to enter your phone number or last 4 numbers of your credit card so that the representative can easily pull up your account when connected.

You will be on hold for at least 10 min.

Once connected to a representative, just let them know that you would like to add your "fishing buddy's" name to the alternate will call list, so they can enter before you. They asked me for my reservation number, last 4 of credit card used, and zip code, so have them handy. They then asked for the name of my "fishing buddy" and they entered it into the system. That completed the request and I was good to go. Hope that helps!

    Tight Lines,

    Mike

Here's a question: I did not make the timeframe for adding alt name by noon the day prior (tomorrow) as I just confirmed with the other party.
    * can I meet the other party at the entrance, present my name to lake staff at the gate as the ticket holder, and simply do the name change then and there, and depart without even entering the property?

I asked Ticketmaster to add alternate and I was told the person had to have the same last name. Gave them the first name. Hope that is sufficient.
