I noticed this week that the tide swing is relatively mild for Torre Beach. How does this effect the bite? We’re thinking about trying the dropping tide tomorrow afternoon and are just curious what you experienced guys think.

In my experience, which is basically not much compared to some guys on here, slack tide is probably the worst time to be fishing. Time and again, the bite is on, the tide changes and everything goes quiet.

Even when the swings are low, you’d want to hit when the water is flowing, close to and into sunset for tomorrow ...

Coach. Does that mean it looks like a good time to fish, or looks like “even money” as in, no better or worse than any other time?

I've caught my best corvinas on jerkbaits during slack tide, both high and low, including a 29" !
