Took my parents out fishing

    I’ve been bringing back lobster and crab to my mom and dad from fishing trips since my early teens. This is the first time they’ve wanted to go with me, so I ran to squidco and bought a couple more hoop nets and we ran off to my favorite spot. Thankfully, I had plenty of bait in my freezer. Between 4 people and 6 hoop nets:
    18 red rock crab
    1 lobster
    1 rockfish
    I haven’t heard my parents scream so loud in quite awhile when they saw that lobster come up. I don’t think I’ll have to ask them if they want to come with me next time. Then my parents took the wife and me to finish off the weekend at Disneyland so that was cool too.

    Thanks. I’m sure they will taste delicious. We left them cooked, vacuum sealed, and frozen at my parents house to be reheated for Christmas dinner.

    There are such crabs in SD!? Interesting.
    I always bycatch some key fob sized ones while lobstering...
    Not that I like crab, my body / skin hate it but nice catch!
