Wish I had specific spots to give you. I only know that halibut have been hitting out in the surf, so maybe some krocs/LCs/whatever jerkbait would do some work.

Fished it Tuesday AM. Walked south past flat rock in the dark . There is a lot of rock structure butting up to sandy areas that is visible at low tide starting about where the cliff gets tall to the south of the parking area . Fishing the structure is your best bet , if you are not loosing tackle your probably not close enough to the structure . Look for troughs and holes as well as any rips forming up , there is a large amount of territory that holds fish in general . May go there tomorrow myself about an hour before the low water . Tight Lines .

Are you talking about TP state park/beach? Or a specific area? I’ve never fished Torrey so I’m a newbie to that area

Torrey pines state beach , Public parking to the south of Carmel valley road along coast highway . When you look to the South from where you park you will see a large rock projecting out from the cliffs About a mile or mile and a half down the beach, that is what is called Flat Rock , Blacks beach is another few miles to the south of Flat Rock . Most of the structure I spoke of is to the south of the parking and park entrance areas . Hope this helps .

And if you walk as far as Blacks, be aware of the tides and how long it'll take you to get back because the high tides can go as high as the cliffs.

Typical surf rig, find areas in the waves that are smaller then the rest. Rip tides are the best. If you can dig up some crabs, use them. If not, use gulp camo sandworms. Catches perch, corbina, YFC, shovelnose, and occasionally something bigger. PM me if I haven’t answered all your questions.
