    Finally got some time to hit the beach after almost a month of being too busy.

    The first nice size perch I caught was at a random spot on the way south close to dawn. I needed to take a phone call and hooked up while talking.

    Second one was a little farther south and seems like something tried to eat it previously.

    Not a bad day out and my first perch of the year. My only other catch was a small sand bass a few weeks ago while scouting spots at low tide. Hopefully this means things are looking up for the rest of the year!
