I passed on fishing this morning to body surf. As soon as I stepped into the crystal clear water I saw a huge bean and thought to myself "did I make the wrong decision?" The water was warm, little wind, sporadic crab beds, no salad and no heavy long shore current. The way the sand is contoured along the beach north of the bridge will make for excellent fishing at mid to high tide.

I was greeted by this sign after I got out of the water. And believe me, I am perfect prey.

If you have a drone, take it to the beach with you. The shark activity signs are based on aerial footage of sharks swimming up the coast along the shallows; sometimes you can see some big ones cruising nary 30-40 feet from shore

It's typical for this time of year. LJ shores is full of leopards in the shallows. Soupfins have been harassing our bottom rigs lately. Signs are there because lawsuits and karens have groomed the way we live life.

I was out at TP in the morning from 8:15-10:00. Walked from the parking lot all the way down to flat rock throwing the LC 110 and got just one Corbina and one solid hit about half way down. I was amazed at the number of rods you could see all the way down the beach. Maybe 8 guys fishing with 20 or so rods. One guy said he got 3 spot fins but nothing else for anyone.

They don't post these for Leopards or Soupfins (I know it was a joke). There have been sightings of GW's in the area the last couple of days and yesterday there was one seen in the shallows.

Like said before, activity has been of Great Whites! Maybe not be a good idea to post on here that you’re “purposely” going out to catch one lmao. Lack of knowledge as of why signs are put up might not fly. Especially if there’s a paper trail on here lol.

Ah man I wish I still had a drone to get some great white footage. They are such cool fish.
