Was he found to be the root cause of the casino bankruptcy? Or was it an operational matter that occurred while the cat was away so to speak? I'm asking because I have no idea and was hoping that since you seemed to be up on it, you might. Speaking to the matter of his (non) politics, that's exactly why so many people voted for him. The way I'm reading it - excepting the wall - he's addressed every other matter included in his Presidency run and exceeded all expectations. In other words, he's batting .1000 - again, excepting the wall.

Had I wanted to see another politician in office, I would have voted elsewhere. Didn't want that though. I was thinking of the potential for financial growth - and man, did the businessman/non-politician ever deliver. Because of his business prowess, I can now retire much sooner than anticipated. In my wildest dreams, I never thought I'd see my retirement numbers spike like they did. Amazing. But unless you started saving when you were 18, you'll never see the growth that those of us who did have now. But ya, bummer about the casino going under. Just curious what caused it.

Well, that part is true enough. Thanks to an insatiable appetite for opioids and THC, the drugs will definitely continue to flow in at incredible rates. It's Friday.. you aint got no job, and you aint got sh_t to do. I'm gonna get you high today.

Quietly, I was kinda hoping that somewhere along the line, this country would just simply bend-over to the drug lords and start allowing users to decide their own fate by ingesting whatever drugs they wanted - legally.. and if they accidentally overdosed while doing it, then too bad, its on them alone. Let the users be in charge of their own lives and deaths. No 911 responding to come save your little azzes, no one running up and jamming Narcan in your arm or up your nose to reverse the effect.. just a truck that runs around the city picking up the remains of those laying in the gutters and against the buildings that chose to go the drug overdose route... but I know that would never happen. Sure would take take the edge off the need for worrying about what comes through the ports of entry, under the walls and over the fences. Would also be a great way to weed-out all the driftwood that offers nothing but increased taxes to society.

I like your ideas...the problem is that the morons and the chronically stupid always seem to injure or kill the innocent! Our state spends hundreds of millions of dollars on the drug addicted homeless...when the vast majority of them chose that lifestyle and are not simply " down on their luck ". After working downtown and talking with many homeless people, I realized that a huge number of the homeless are basically lazy *** people that don't want to conform to our societies notion of working for a living. Drugs are another way to escape this society. Give most of them money, housing, food and health care, and they will still be the same person...wanting everything for free! Our current state government thrives on feeling sorry for people that don't deserve it!

I don't disagree with your fact's they are fact's, I disagree with your response to Creek (I think it was Creek). To me a lot of this is to redundant.

When deciding who to vote for I do not believe any of the promises or solutions the politicians give. Over the years I have learned just by pure luck that there has been a small % of Politicians that can follow through with what they have promised or things they say there going to do. I look at policies, past record etc, but most of who they are has a person and their intentions. So whoever wants to believe Politicians will follow through with there promises go right ahead and keep fishing with a empty hook.
For Trump to continue keep achieving some of what he said he was going to do is just amazing especially under the current conditions he is facing. I can only hope the man can continue working for some of us.

Thanks for the response. My message to you was not in any anger, but just a question.
Anyway, I am glad you are not fooled by a lot of the promises made by politicians.........but there
are millions of others that are not as (what word can I use to not offend anyone????)...smart or educated and
just believed that since Trump was a businessman, he could work a deal to have Mexico pay for the wall.
There are many people out there that are pretty gullible and glad you are not one of them.
Take care and tight lines to ya
    Vin

That's just the start. Lets get back to the beginning. We had laws in place that guaranteed accountability for the offenders. Then for some reason, we just got scared and stopped holding them accountable. All of a sudden, people started suing everybody that looked sideways at them. Reasons for suing other people didn't even matter. Lawyers dont care.. they just quote a price and file paperwork on your behalf. And the courts liked it.. mo' money I assume. Allowing lawsuits for any reason taught everyone that they too could sue no matter the reason. So now, no one is accountable anymore. Government and private citizen alike can no longer tell anyone what to do or how to do it. And we continue to bend over to everyone from top to bottom just to keep our azzes out of trouble.

People are pizzed. Any reason to start bellyaching out loud is what they're looking for. I'm amazed at how many people simply start going off for no reason. They seem to just need an outlet for all the bad thats being stored up in their heads. So this is their way of purging, so to speak. Most of the time, the purge is caustic verbal. But the actual physical purge is becoming more and more prevalent. Can't tell me what to do, where to go or how to behave. If you do, I'll sue your azz from here to next Sunday. And they do.

All I get from all this banter is that I know who will and will not be fishing with me on the boat.....

That said, along with the #1 rule of NO BANANAS the #2 rule will be NO POLITICS.

I went a whole year 2018 without dumping someone overboard with a life ring. I’m not sure if I got lucky, since the #2 Rule was not in place then....

Anyone who wants to fish with me will know 2 things right away. I’m an American, I wanna catch fish.

I will call it the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Rule.

I don’t care what gender you identify with, what color your skin is or what political party or religion you are.....If your chill, get stoked on fishing and aren’t a “stiff” you and I will get along.

My Sister and Brother-in-law both spent their careers at CMH, now retired, and from what I have been told, you have nailed it. It gets tiresome being asked for what you've earned to be given away for nothing. And the fakes...I was told, always look at their shoes to find the fakes.

I dont think Vinny was aiming anything at me personally. Even if he was, I'd be okay with it because he's a pretty well-intended, grounded and respectful person. I have a great relationship with him and most everyone else that participates in The Lounge. But thank you for watching my six, sir.. always nice to know that there are those who will call it out when they see it. Best, Mike
