The ocean was huge. The swell was like the Bering Sea on the deadliest catch. None the less it was was awesome and the TUNA were biting. I was lucky enough to be invited on a full day charter aboard the SAMURAI out of H&M landing. First off thanks to the whole crew you guys were awesome. FISH were caught. 16 total. 3 bluefin. 12 albacore. 1 dorado. Jackpot went to appx 35# bluefin. Yes sir. I think we were about 90 miles south.

More boats need to go to the freezer method with the fish. The renegade has a system that is a Bryne and Freezer setup, I think other boats out of Seaforth have it also.

the fish just sit in the sacks during the stop...some boats use sacks, others use kill boxes. after the stop, the fish are placed in the fish-hold...

isn't it nice to know before you post!

yo kenny - some fish were caught on the troll w? feathers and once a good spot was found we fished dines for a while....I used 25# line on my Avet.

PS to all the haters....the fish weren't in the burlap sacks for more than 30 mins at the most... Come on you really think we left them on the deck all day?? really?? THX Imderek for knowing whats up!!

Hey great post. I'm taking a one day on the sea adventure next weekend. Were you in Mexico waters? I've been really hoping for my shot at a BFT.
