    SI - 8am-1p

    7 - SBB
    2 - BSB

Hit SI for a long stretch today. Incoming tide, things looked promising. Got parked and it’s been about a week, but smelled that fresh fishy air...did smell fishy...

Check the spot, nobody home...it’s on!

1st cast bit, 2nd cast BSB on The mullet.

From 8-1030...fairly consistent bite. Lots of current 9-10...
Caught 8 bass total there with lots of bites and a few lost fish. I don’t think any were Halibut. Largest being a 13” SBB.

Moved to park n fish for 60min and came away with 1 and very few bites...

Lots of guys at parknfish... weird.

With time running low...made a 15min appearance at NTC for 2, maybe 3 bumps...I’ll see you in the Winter.... NTC. (Shrug)

    Score-
    Chartreuse Gulp Mullet - 6
    DS Keitech - 1
    DS Zoom - 1
    Fishheadspin/Senko - 1

That mullet on the ultralight was the ticket today. But, ultimately it was the Scrounger w the cut Senko that got the biggest of the day. That bass hit it w INTENT! I like the action on it, I’ll be throwing it more.

    Thx for reading...
    Rob

I’m not sure why I don’t use those scroungers more often as I’ve caught a lot of fish on those thru the years a true classic, yours looks looks to be a upgrade from the old ones it’s painted with eyes.

That’s the fishheadspin brand version. I like them because they are fairly versatile as to the different plastics you can put on them.

No, I follow a pro staffer from LB area on Instagram. He’s a nice guy, sends out some swag every once in awhile. But... I’m pretty sure you google fishheadspin and you’ll find them.

Wasn’t fishing close to the pier that day. But today I let the kids play at the park there and I fished the rocks. Saw a guy pull in a small Halibut or skate or some small flat fish, but that was it from what I saw w the pier today.

I actually caught my skunkbuster there today...whew
