    Quick report from yesterday.

Gentlemen’s start to the morning, launched around 0615 to surprisingly very little wind for Vicente in the am. Though there weren’t any skiers nor wakeboarders there were a few pleasure boaters that forgot their courtesy cards at home. Not sure why they feel the need to fly by at open throttle but many of them do. Sorry, had to get my whine in for the day.

On to the fishing, while it wasn’t wide open, there were fish to be had. We had around 8 fish on the boat, biggest landed was 4+ pounds, mostly keepers today. I lost a toad later in the afternoon, we saw it jump and my buddy said oh that one deserves a net. It ended up in a tree that we could see and I lost it when it wrapped itself. Our estimate was at least 8lbs, possibly double digit and it kept getting bigger and bigger and was almost 20lbs when all was said and done. LoL! Seriously though, it may have gone DD as it was pretty dang big when it jumped then swam by us into the tree.

Nice day on the water, wind never really picked up and very few other boaters out. All fish caught on plastics, few busting fish but not enough to cast to as it was very random.

    Go out and get ‘em.

That’s right, Michael, and she better watch herself every time she comes out that front door, I’m stalking her like a paparazzi! LoL!

That fish in the photo had previously broken someone else’s heart. There was a hook lodged inside the roof of her mouth.

Almost forgot to mention, we saw a pair of bald eagles hunting on the lake yesterday, so majestic. Then later in the afternoon we saw an adolescent being hounded by a couple of ravens in a tree for its kill.

Sounds like a fun day Alain. I haven't been out in a while but need to dust off the boat and gear sooner than later. I've got my big swimbaits sitting in the garage just chomping to get wet!

Are you going to make it out to Ronda, ESP? I'd bet you can get some really nice photos from there?
