    Hi SD Fish Fam!
I setup a camera on my A-Rig and thought you guys would enjoy watching the strikes AND misses.

That is super cool and interesting. I have always wanted to see a halibut going after something to help understand why you get so many short bites.

Exactly why I put on that camera. Trying to understand how these Halis bite. They are SO FAST. It's hard to see what they are doing in real time. When I slow it down you can see them bail on the bait the last instant or even eat the bait and spit it out.

Next time I'm using thinner hooks. I think the ones in this vid are too beefy.

Hahaha, That name died around 1996 or so when my (then) wife violated AOL's terms of service... I had to start a new account with the deuce a few weeks later.... the name just stuck.

Hi Kev, I appreciate the honesty.
What lure/setup would you like to see next?

If I can make a request, it would be nice to have footage of the actual structure and bottom features of both of the bays.

Someone recently asked if the larger fw type of swimbaits would work, I wouldn’t mind seeing those get attacked. ;)

Putting in the work. :) Learning to fish and make better vids a little bit at a time. You are welcomed any time.

Ooooo! I'm going to do a River2Sea S Waver!! I'm going to have to weigh it down a bit but that would be a fun one. Thanks!

Thanks for checking it out smiler!

That would be cool to do and sync it up with the sonar screen so we can learn what all that looks like on the scope. That's a good idea.

It has been a while, lots of family stuff in the last year but most of it is behind me now, I have been working on the boat so I can get down there and have some fun. I have been watching a few of your videos from time to time... hope to see you on the water soon!

AOL... hahaha, it was a long time ago... AOL was it for me for quite a while. There was another dial up provider in the 90's (forgot the name) but they didn't have a local number so I was stuck with the "you've got mail" for a long time

Very cool. Goes to show they’ll swim a minute to strike (or bail) vs the general thought of get it within 8-12” of their face.

Roman, epic vid dude!! Great to see how discerning and persnickety those halis are.
