Which stores in SD sell waders? My first thought was sport chalet or sports authority, but neither exist anymore. Are there any local stores with a variety, or should I just drive up to BPS?

I got mine at Turner's, hodgeman Pipestone stocking foot breathables. Had them for years and they are still working for me, really comfortable too. Cost 120.00

Thanks guys. Sounds like Turners is my best bet. Now that I think about it, I believe I did see them there.

I think I will try Turmers next time. I have always ordered online with poor results as to fit. Evidently most guys with size 13 shoe are ginormous!

It's hard to beat the prices and choices on amazon. I would prefer to support local shops, but the selection in town is almost nonexistent!

I went to Dicks in Chula Vista looking for some quick lures, hooks and to check out the rods.
Inside looks like a clothing store and no fishing section.

Hodgeman H3. Good reviews and they were pretty cheap.

No fishing gear in Dick's Escondido, looks more like a day glo clothing store. Don't think the one in Carmel Mtn has fishing gear either.

Well, the waders worked perfectly. However, I wasn't a huge fan of tubing in the bay. Gonna sell it all and get a small kayak. Complete set up will be posted in the for sale section soon.

Having owned a kayak and a tube, I'd say both have their pros and cons. I love tubing the bay but you do have to stay in the calmer areas, coves can be alot of fun, you just don't want to be in a main channel battling current in a tube, your gonna lose that one.
