Yesterday was good to me! 30 in hand, farmed a few more. Couple 4's and a 5 kicker. Heard from others it was tough in the rain.

Thanks for the info...headed out there this Sat, hopefully I miss any rains expecting to come through. From the looks of it, I just may as that area is supposed to get rain Mon- Wed and then again on Sun

Im sure it does, I just dont know what that really looks like or the difficulty of getting down to the dock. I have never had the "pleasure" of fishing Barrett in the rain...but I dont mind if I keep it that way either.

My son and I fished the rain yesterday and had a blast - it can be a lot of fun if you are dressed/prepared appropriately.

As for the road/trail.... the rain did not affect the road much at all, save for the very lower portion near the dock. You will be fine.

At least the rain would knock down the dust on the trip in and out.

We fished in a boat and it was slow for us. Too much dead water for barrett. It actually felt like fishing not catching. Haha. We left at 1:30 pm with 22.
We would of stayed if I had rain gear and not snowboarding gear. Who would of thought you need rain gear in San Diego.
