    Nice catch. Bummer about the LCs.

    I've made the switch to the Daiwa SP Minnow. They are basically half the price of a Flash Minnow depending on where you buy them. I've actually caught more halibut on them than I ever did on the lucky craft (which is completely anecdotal because obviously the lucky craft catches plenty of fish....But at near half the price it hurts just a little less when you lose one. And I find I fish it a little harder when I'm not as concerned about losing it. Along with all that, I don't feel the need to change out the hooks at all on the SP minnow.

    Just a thought, and in my opinion, worth picking a couple up to check out as you look to replace your lost LCs.

    The SP and hydro minnows cast much farther also... Especially into a headwind
