    Hi Y'all,

    Currently, I only have one Promar Eclipse and I want to get at least one more net, preferably Promar Ambush;
    Anyone know where can I find them at a fair price here in San Diego?
    Or is the "Azeecccctttkh" brand from squidco really worth trying as well?

    p.s. I just got my 10" Porta Bote G.4 with Suzuki 2.5HP registered, so I'll try to get out on SD bay bi-weekly till the season ends; boat fits 3 person max, let me know if anyone wanna hop in for free (lame to be out alone).

    Thanks,
    Zavv

    The cheapest ambush sold nearby, as google shows, is at CharkBait, Bolsa Chica Street, Huntington Beach, CA, at $29.99 (need 4+ for shipping); most online store, like amazon, priced at ~$40.
    If I really can't find one nearby, I would opt for that brand 'az';
    p.s. difference between the two is az only has 4 sustaining sticks (between top and bottom hoop), while ambush has 6 and are also weighted.

    Just remember that there is a charkbait over on midway as well, might call over there and see what they have available

    Went down to imperial beach pier last night for 2+ hours, caught and released 2 palm sized lobster, using at least 4lb weight and the current still managed to push the net around a bit to mildly tangle up the pier pile.
