Here are just a few short notes for the WON Tournament at Lake Otay this Saturday.
Congratulations to George Pernicano and Alex Espinosa with the first place finished. The team also had the big bass of the tournament at 10.07lbs. Total weight to take first place was 18.04 and the team won $3,385 for their efforts.

Here are how some of the other teams finished:
    2 Brian Hess/Cory Stenovce bf 5.62lbs total weight 17.21lbs winnings $1,020
    3 Willie Waller/Art Berry bf 4.74lbs total weight 17.20lbs winnings $825
    4. Ryan Escutia/Chris Studinger bf 3.86lbs total 13.87lbs winnings $440.

Fishing was spotty with lots of fish being grafted deep, but most of the bass coming in from 5 to 12' of water.

Larry C. Wilson, you are the dog. He won the Berkley Vendetta rod and 4 lobsters in the raffle. I think you took home one heck of a lot of goodies. I never want to hear..... Can Vicki and I come to your house for dinner...soon?

We had a great time at this initial WON San Diego event and if you were not there you missed a good tournament to fish. It was great seeing Harvey Naslund and Dave Nollar fishing together as a team. Brought back some great memories.

We look forward to seeing you at Lake El Capitan on December 5th.
