    Rather didn't sleep but anyways going out to the surf where nature tests every knot, casts, and every ounce of willpower. It's where i started fishing and grew up as a fisherman. Will post update later

    It was good to see you Paul. I didn't stay long. Grass on every cast makes for a quick session. I looked to my right and was going to say bye but you were long gone. Hopefully you found a fish or two.

    You didnt miss much. The grass was really frustrating. Found a length of waves without grass, but it had no structure so i left shortly after! Next time lets hit a different beach :)

    I'm going to wait 2 weeks before i hit the surf again. Gotta wait for the new moon to pass for that grass to chill out

    'It'll clear before then. I've had it un fishable one day just like it was and then perfectly clean the next in that exact same spot.

    Which beach were you at? I was at Torrey Pines last Sunday and it was ALL salad. Thinking about going tomorrow wondering if it'll still be a weed farm.

    Unles you find like a 20 ft patch of clean water, the salad is here to stay until several days after the new moon! Honestly telling you where we were isnt gonna elp anyone as a fisherman, so for everyones growth, go out and fish the surf if you wanna learn about surf fishing ;)

    @Paulito The water was super clean this morning, not a single strand of grass came back on the LC in two + hours of fishing. It was also void of fish. Figures, clean water and no fish. Bait fish were around but thats about it. I did see a couple spotfin move in looking for crabs but they were gone just as quick as they showed up.

    Oh man the ocean is just magical! I bet if i went out today with you, there would have been seaweed hahahha! I have a seaweed magnet built into my body :(

    Surf fishing is a mean *****. I walk back to my car with the biggest smile sometimes. but most of the time cursing the conditions and yelling at myself for even going..lol.
