Was Bored yesterday so i headed to Yuma for a day of fun. First stop was the Q casino and decided to play a little Blackjack, Good decision as i won $185.00 in about 20 minutes. I zipped it up and went looking for birds. Bought my license @Sportsmans Paradise and also 100 shells. Boy did i find the birds, Problem was they were in the city limits of Yuma. I asked a business if i can hunt in his Yard(4 or 5 acres) and he said he would love for someone to help eradicate the birds as his business is suffering from the crap these birds are producing. He was cool but didnt give me permission. I next went to a welding shop and asked if i could hunt in his yard. He said help yourself. I set up with a Robo Dove and went to work. Between 1:30PM and 3:30PM i killed 53 Euro's. There is probably 500,000 Euros in that area and i noticed a grain stack they are feeding on. Gassed up ($2.71) a gallon and drove thru In N Out for a #1 combo and headed west. Got to Golden Acorn Casino @ 6PM and risked a $100 and played some more BJ. 10 minutes later walked out with another $120 and set off for Ramona. Got home @ 7:30 and cleaned birds until 9:30. A great day of hunting by myself and good day for the wallet .

Euros are open all year with no limit. AZ is a hunt all day state now. Years ago it was only to 12:00 PM now sit out there all day if you want. Better have plenty of shells.

Nice shoot , seems like more and more It is very difficult to obtain permission to hunt or fish . Sad the state of our society that everyone is either afraid of litigation or has succumbed to the Idea of protecting even non native , invasive species . Keep that land owner in your book and maybe even bring coffee and bagels next time or send a thank you card . Thanks for the report . WR
