The 228 anglers checked at Barrett Lake
last week reported catching 2,173 largemouth bass
and 40 bluegill
. That pencils out to a little less than 10 bass
per angler. Numbers continue to drop off a bit as the season winds along, but there are still tons of bass to catch.
The usual baits continue to produce, with senkos probably solidly emerging as the most consistent bait for the majority of anglers.
