Water continues to be on the rise at Diamond Valley. Water temps are ranging from 78 to 81 depending on where you fish and time of day. It is cooler near the west side where water is coming in the lake. There is also more algae on that side of the lake.
The algae is not hindering the bite though as fish are still being caught. John Reddy from Wisconsin, managed some nice bass and a very nice bluegill. Fish were caught on underspins from Revenge and Coolbaits. Fishing was also steady on the Yamamoto Senkos and Fat IKA’S in green pumpkin.
Todd Kline, one of the most successful tournament anglers on the west coast the last several years, is now offering his services as a professional fishing guide in southern California, including San Diego’s fabled big bass reservoirs.
