Lake Hodges Fish Report – 8/6/17

  • The water temperature at Lake Hodges is about 74 degrees right now. Bass fishing is still picking up, with anglers averaging about 2 fish each per trip.

    Casey Quinn of San Diego caught 4 bass on August 6th on senkos, totaling 12.65 pounds and anchored by a 6.85 pounder.

    Catfishermen are finding some nice catfish lately.

    Bluegill are being found in the shaded areas. But look for the bigger bluegill in deep water.

    Carp fishing continues to be productive, anglers are finding them all over in shallow water.
