Bass – Stephen Washer from Boulevard came in this week with a massive Bass weighing in at exactly 10 pounds; this bass was reported to be caught on a swimbait and was successfully released. Your best bet is roboworms, senkos, swim baits, rattle traps, crank baits, drop shots, or jigs.
Catfish – Constant flow of anglers reporting limits of catfish in several different locations mostly on cut mackeral. Good choice of baits would be mackerel, night crawlers, Bonita or chicken liver.
Bluegill & Crappie – No actual reports this week of Bluegill or Crappie being caught but they are beginning to be seen towards the surface on occasion up close to the bank. Your best bet for baits is crappie jigs, small crank baits, or mealworms.
