Lake Murray Fish Report – 10/22/17

  • The Bass bite remains consistent with the best action being in early morning and late afternoon using a variety of techniques. The best way to go in the middle of the day is drop shotting plastics. Black and purple have been getting the best results.

    There were no Catfish reported this week but the panfish are hitting well when you can find them.

    Paul Anders of La Jolla caught 3 bass using shiners in Bowman Cove on the 19th. His largest fish weighed 4 pounds.

    Manny Mendoza from Los Angeles had 5 bluegill, including a nice 1.5 pounder on wax worms on the 20th.

    Chris Wood of San Diego caught a 4.6 pound bass on a shiner in Del Cerro Bay.
