Lake Murray Fish Report – 6/11/17

  • The bass bite continues to be at its best. The fish are about 15 to 20 feet deep and are hanging right above the brush. 4 and 6″ purple plastic worms are producing the best bites.

    Panfish are biting in the arms using red worms and wax worms.

    • Mike Heinrich of Los Angeles caught a 7 pound bass from Cowles Point while fishing shiners on the 10th.
    • Vinny DePalma (pictured) caught a 6.75 pound bass from San Carlos Point using a creature bait. Read his report here.
    • Quincy Lewis caught a 4.75 pound bass from Cowles Bay on plastic worms.
    • Greg Pinarelli caught an 8 pound bass in Alvarado Bay using a senko.
