Lake Poway Fish Report – 6/4/17

  • Darien Vorachack of Escondido landed a great 4lb 12oz Tailwalker Sunday. He caught it dropshotting a roboworm. There were some trout caught earlier in the week and a few bass and catfish. The other big news is catfish season and night fishing are coming July 7th. We will be stocking catfish July 7th through August 18th (details below) and we will have night fishing until 11:30 PM (boats in by 11:00 PM) Friday and Saturday nights from July 7th to August 26th.

    The next stock will be catfish 2600 lbs July 7th.

    • July 21st 1300 lbs
    • August 4th 1300 lbs
    • August 18th 1300 lbs

    Catfish stock subject to change.

    When you stop by concessions to buy your permit ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. Remember concessions closes at 6:00 PM so come early enough to buy your permit.
