San Vicente Reservoir Fish Report – 5/22/17

  • Content Ad
  • Bass fishing has improved this past week as warming temperatures heat up the action. Fish have been anywhere from 0 to 25 feet in the water column. Topwater baits have been producing early and late with dropshots and senkos producing midday.

The bluegill bite has been fair to good on nightcrawlers at main lake points 10-20 feet deep. Some redear sunfish have been showing up with the bluegill. Redworms are working better for the shellcrackers.

Catfish and all other species went unreported last week.
