San Vicente Reservoir Fish Report – 11/20/16

  • Not much has changed with the bass bite this past week. Largemouth are scattered from 3′ to 70′ in the water column. Drop shots, texas rigs, and jigs are getting most of the deep fish.

The morning hours have produced some topwater opportunities for schooling fish. Flukes, Alabama rigs, and spooks to name just a few, all took their share of fish.

The intake area proved to be the top spot for the larger grade of bluegill and crappie. Red worms and nightcrawlers got it done for the anglers targeting panfish.

Only a few catfish checked in, with top honors going to Dennis Kolender who landed a 64.2 pound giant blue catfish on a bass jig.
